Description: Our stout uses 9 different malts/grains to create a very deep malt flavor profile, and we build a very smooth and sweet mouthfeel and substantial body with mash additions of oatmeal and wheat, and lactose (milk) in the boil. Post fermentation additions of cocoa nibs and Madagascar Vanilla Beans bring an even richer flavor profile. Winter's coming, but our sweet stout has arrived. The slag pile, just across the tracks and south from 1905, came from Assumption's very deep coal mine that operated in the early part of the 20th century. Malt: Munich, Pale, Carapils, Chocolate, Oats, Locally Sourced Whole Organic Wheat, Roasted Barley, Black Prinz, and Crystal 60 Hops: Tettnang Vegan Friendly / Gluten Reduced
