Description: At 7 cent the only thing we regard higher than quality is flavour. In the quest for a unique yeast strain that would allow us to produce a flavourful brew; we went searching for wild microbes. Who would have thought that the tastiest contender would reside in one of the darkest places? Sorry, you’ll find no belly button fluff in your glass. Instead this beer is 100% fermented with a saccharomyces yeast strain that started from a single yeast cell that once resided in the belly button fluff of one of the 7 cent brewers, there's a little bit of 7 Cent in every glass. A Belgian-ish style beer with orange zest and coriander. It goes to show that magnificent things can come from the most disgusting of places. A gimmick or the result of an unconventional quest for flavour? You decide. Brewed for GABS 2016.
