Description: Dry and sharp with a subtle contribution that’s hard to place. Grassy, vanilla, and a touch medicinal. Nothing quite tastes like woodruff. Once deeply routed in the cultural landscape of Brandenburg, Berlinerweisse is now invariably drunk mixed with a shot of shockingly sweet, vibrantly coloured, artificially flavoured woodruff syrup. We took the concept, replaced artificial with natural and ended up with a uniquely interesting snapshot of a lost Germanic tradition.
