Description: Smoked chipotle porter aged in rye whiskey barrels. This beer tastes like the acres of forest gone ablaze! We smoked ripe red Jalapeños from Crossroads Farm, as well as organic barley, in our smokehouse at the brewery. Feeling we wanted even more complexity, we aged the dark brew in charred American oak barrels that previously held an Oregon made bourbon. This beer balances bold flavors of smoke and fire with the soothing sweetness of ripe chilies and oak conditioning.
