We embrace the profound meaning in the endless pursuit of mastering one’s passion and elevating it to new heights. Miyamoto Musashi (1584-1645), widely known as Japan’s greatest swordsman of all time, became renowned for his double-blade technique and perfect record in 61 duels. Also a philosopher and strategist, his total commitment to all aspects of mastery epitomizes Kiwami. Of his famous quotes, perhaps none more timely: 身を浅く思い、世を深く思う。Consider yourself lightly, consider the world deeply. Kiwami pours a beautiful, opaque gold. A heaping dose of Pacific Northwest and New Zealand hops through the kettle hop and dry hop confers a juicy mango nose with a strong resiny finish, intensifying as it warms in the glass. In the spirit of the original Vermont NEIPAs, we seek to impart a prominent, yet balanced dank character and bitterness. A fusion of the NEIPA origin and contemporary beer style definition.
