Description: Taking inspiration from Old Ales from Burton, Henry's Burton Ale is based on a historical recipe shared with us by Henry from Dark Star Brewing. As well as a blend of traditional varieties of malted barley, the beer also revisits the practice of brewing with sugars, specifically Invert No. 2 and Brewers Caramel. Ernest & Bullion strike a balance of traditional and contemporary hops, leading to fruity aromas of Blackcurrant, citrus and spice. A complex, almost vineous malt character is balanced by a firm hop bitterness, leading to a dry finish.
