Description: Rotbier or "Red Beer" a little known lager style born in Nürnberg, Germany. Cousins to the Märzen but brewed with more caramel and toasty flavors. A beautiful red lager with deep red hues from a curated blend of Vienna, Munich and Caramunich Malts. Double decocted for malt complexity and superior drinkability. Lightly hopped with Spalter select which brings a slightly spiced aroma and notes of walnut, with undertones of mulberries and ponderosa wood. This beer is all about the malt though. rich layers of baguette crust, soda bread and light caramel with a dry borodinsky bread finish.
