Description: This perry was conceived in the early fall of 2016 from wild pears foraged from old abandoned homesteads and abandoned trees throughout the back roads of Antrim County, Michigan. Opal in color and slightly hazy, bone dry with medium acidity, this ferment is a true celebration of forgotten feral pear varieties native to the Chain-O'-Lakes region. Hand-picked, hand pressed, and limited to 60 cases, this unique batch of perry is the kick off to Bee Well's 'Foraged Series'. Our never ending quest to reconnect with forgotten, heirloom trees.
