Description: When someone hands you a big basket of rhubarb and says “Can you brew something with this?” the answer has to be “YES!” When you then ask them what style of beer they’d like, and their response is “Saison”, well, er, okay. I’ve not really been a big fan of saisons, mostly because I remember drinking farmhouse beers in France as a teenager and being very disappointed in what we’ve had over here since. So, like several breweries who have brewed good beers of this style, we’ve tried to take it back to a simple, old farmhouse style, but with rhubarb. Is our Rhubarb Saison like a traditional saison? No. Is it good? Well, we’re happily Quality Controlling it!
