Description: Hellwoods was the very first imperial stout we ever brewed, and one that became an instant classic -- so it's especially nostalgic to come face-to-face with it once again after such a long hiatus. And even though we thoroughly enjoy a barrel aged doozy as much as the next person, drinking this beer again has been a convincing argument for the no bells and whistles stout. This extremely dark and complex beer has intense aromas and flavours of dark roast coffee, burnt chocolate, berries, maple, light smoke and vanilla.
