Description: This beer combines two great beer styles--hefeweizen and maibock-to create something unique and new, offering clean bright flavors and just the right amount of sustaining richness and complexity. Wheat adds a nice creaminess as does a little rye, also bringing a deep spicy/ fruity character. Rockin'Bock presents some clean phenolic aromas with a bit of light toasted caramel, along with plenty of fruity notes. On the palate, it shows just a little richness balanced by a sweetly spicy middle quickly changing to a crisp, dry spicy/fruity finish and a long, spicy aftertaste. All in all, just a perfect beer for spring--bright and smooth with a hint of sustaining richness and the promise of warmth right around the corner.
