Description: Märzen beers were traditionally brewed in the month of March (hence the name) and lagered in ice caves during the summer months for consumption in early autumn. In the 19th century they became firmly associated with Munich’s annual Oktoberfest celebration. Our Märzen, brewed in collaboration with the Cape Brewing Co., in Jenks, is an elegant malty lager, light amber in hue, with delicate noble hop bitterness, and a dry finish. It is brewed using a special blend of four malts imported from Bamberg, Germany, traditional hops, and a special lager yeast used by one of Munich’s top breweries. Prost!
