Description: There’s an ominous looking hop lurking around my beer and it’s making me uncomfortable. I don’t recognize its aroma and it has a peculiar accent. Stranger Danger! Fear not brothers and sisters, it's only Nelson Sauvin, our latest hop from New Zealand! Named for New Zealand’s hop growing region and the Sauvignon grape to which it shares uncanny flavor characteristics. Some descriptors that come to mind are; Sauvignon Blanc, grapefruit, gooseberry, and mango. The color is pure southern hemisphere sunshine. American Pale Ale Malt provides a solid foundation that’s round and smooth but finishes dry, and not too sweet.
