Description: Brewed in collaboration with Maine Beer Company. Collaboration Time II incorporates locally malted organic barley (from Valley Malt in Hadley, MA) to create a very light and delicate malt body. Brewered then decided to blend a traditional Saison hop, Saaz, with the American variety, Ahtanum. For yeast, we used a blend of the MBC house American ale strain and house Saison strain. In the dry hop we opted to splash in just a touch of Amarillo for some citrus notes. The result is a generously hopped Saison with a mellow “Saison” yeast character.
