Description: Surtur (original version), brewed for Þorri-season (winter). Named after a Jötunn (giant) from the Nors Mythology, a major figure in the events of ragnarök, carrying his big fire-sword. Pours opaque black with a small, fizzy tan head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is roast and chocolate malt, figs and prunes, light smoke and earthy hops with licorice notes. Flavor is sweet dark malt, alcohol, dates and figs with light hops and bitterness, and a sweet finish. Full body and light carbonation.
