Description: We were so thrilled with how our 5th Anniversary Stout, Classy Affair, was received, we knew we had to revisit it in some way. Brewed in celebration of our 6th Anniversary, Flashy Affair is a Pastry style Imperial Stout. To kick things off, we brewed up the same rich, decadent, and full-bodied base as Classy Affair, added Lactose, and aged it 7 months in Buffalo Trace Bourbon Barrels. From there we conditioned it on a tons of Cinnamon to balance the barrel character, pounds of luscious Madagascar Vanilla and fresh Maple, and an absolutely absurd amount of French Toast Cereal for an insanely pastry-forward drinking experience! Massive notes of French Toast Crunch cereal in a bowl of chocolate milk, freshly made waffles smothered in syrup, and churros covered in chocolate sauce.
