Description: A legend of the ‘buckriders’ dates from the 18th century were people surrendered themselfs to the devil and road on the back of flying goats one time per year to meet Satan. In fact they were just plain thieves and poachers. During this period the groups of thieves, who called themselfs the buckriders (‘Bokkerijders’ in flemish), and poachers frighten the inhabitants of the region. They all became outlaws and most of them were hung. They were the most frighten people in the region of the Earlship of van Loon (region of, today, brouwerij Cornelissen). Bokkereyer beer is being brewed according a very delicate recipe. The base of lightly burned malt gives the beer his magnificent amber colour. The beer gives a pleasant hoppy aroma with a soft bitter aftertaste and a soft flavor of caramel. This is really a beer of the discerning beer lover!
