Description: Jaak Cornelissen, the family owner of brewery Cornelissen during the 1930’s, wanted to brew a real ‘Ale’ as in those times the English Ales were a big success, also in Belgium. He was so convinced of the quality of his own brewed beer that he used the slogan “once you tast this Belgian Ale, you never drink an English Ale again!”. History showed he was right. Till today Ops-Ale won worldwide over more then 15 Golden Medals for the excellent quality of the beer. Ops-Ale is general praised for his quality and spicy hoppy taste. Brewery Cornelissen wants to keep holding on to this enormous quality and therefore is still using the same original yeast strain. This amazing lager beer gives a refreshing full malt flavor, lightly bitter, with a sunny golden yellow colour and a solid white foam head. This hidden pearl could surprise you on a blind taste!
