Description: Solar Eclipse Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout is a brand originated and exclusive to our master brewer Wayne Burns, who has made the beer since 2001. 2020's Solar Eclipse is 18.81% alcohol by volume. Taking ten weeks to brew, it was then aged 5 months in stainless steel and 5 months in a Laws (Denver, CO) 4-Grain Bourbon barrel. This year's version is chocolate, kola nut, vanilla, cocoa and bourbon forward. A touch of char and coffee comes through as well. As usual, the 18.81%abv is extraordinarily well-masked. No adjuncts. This beer will warm you, heart and soul. Ages Gracefully 25+years.
