Description: This NW style sour ale is a blend of red ales aged for up to two years in oak barrels on elderberries and spices. Aromas of sharp, dark port, raisins, black currants and hints of red peppercorns are the first to be noticed. Tart, dark fruit, blackberries, currants, tobacco and hints of leather on the palate lead to a slightly drying finish of sweet elderberries, dark grapes, aged port and leather.
