Description: A few years ago I explored getting some black raspberries from the same PNW source a friend of mine get theirs from. It just didn't work out for some reason, but then 2020 came and we didn't have nearly the amount of fruit to play with as normal, so we got some of the last of their crop. THIS is the darkest beer we've ever released. We used a bit over 3 pounds per gallon of black raspberries, but you'd swear it was 8. Massive raspberry flavors on the nose and the taste is much of the same with a tannic finish, like a Napa Cab Sauv. The acidity of the fruit defeats the acidity of the base beer. Decadent.
