Description: Many people spent the majority of 2020 alone in quarantine, and all of us were physically separated from family and friends, and still are. This beer was conceived as a case study in isolation and loneliness, as a realization of the collective difficulty of the past 12 months, and a personal expression of the depression that I have dealt with over the last several years. I wanted to do every part of the process by myself, including processing the fruit, bottling, and labeling. Plus put myself emotionally into every single bottle by hand painting the artwork and hand writing the beer name. The design is partly inspired by an abstract passionfruit.
