Description: This is an extra stout, in the venerable style of other notable South Australian Stouts, not sweet, dry or bitter. The emphasis is on the malts, with generous portions of chocolate malt and roast malt giving an intense black colour and sweeping roast flavours from dark toffee, bitter chocolate to overdone toast. The hop profile and ferment character are both restrained and natural and earthy in character. All the ingredients are Australian, and as local as possible, with a balance that we hope reflects our region, and keeps you coming back for more.
