Description: The brain child of Richard from Moonshine Coffee Roasters, who as a coffee roaster and beer lover, wanted to combine work with pleasure. This is not your typical coffee beer however. Rather than using roasted beans or cold press coffee like many others have done before, we wanted to brew with the raw fruit that he grows on his farm - skin, pulp, green bean and all. We used them in the mash to extract some caffeine (which at this low level acts as a bittering flavour enhancer), as well as at whirlpool for their unique grape, raisin and quince flavour. These flavours are supported by the earthy, piney, fruity backbone of a hoppy pale ale. Collaboration with Beard and Brau and Moonshine Coffee Roasters.
