Description: SEA TRIALS#3 : English-Style Bitter Conditioned with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis var. Drei. Sometimes the inspiration for a new or variation of an existing beer recipe is fostered by circumstance and opportunity that can pop-up in the brewery. For example, the idea for our newly released Sea Trials #3 evolved when we realized we would have a bottle conditioning pitch of yeast from our Sea Trials #4 (100% Brett Pale Ale) scheduled for a summer release. We have always had affinity towards ESB (Extra Special Bitter) so we thought we would re-work our Surfman’s Check ESB recipe and put it into a bottle with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis var. Drei.
