Description: Like a rare celestial event, once in a blue moon Stone Brewing Company’s brewmaster Mitch Steele soars in from the western sky to collaborate with his friend and Fat Head’s brewmaster Matt Cole to create a new, fun, experimental brew. This year’s concoction is a perfectly balanced, sessionable, summertime sipper featuring Comet hops known for their clean grapefruit citrus flavor and aroma with a little added earthy grassiness. These “retro” hops were developed in the 60’s & 70’s then fell out of favor in the 80’s and are now being grown and utilized again for us to enjoy.
