Description: The modern Farmhouse Ale has transformed into an effervescent and exceedingly dry yeast-driven beer that explodes on the palate with an intense spritzy character. We feel Textbook Farmhouse Ale exemplifies the style with its champagne-like dryness and potent yeast esters. Pilsner base malt creates a light grainy flavor with a pale appearance akin to a yellow tile counter from the 70's with carbonation dancing up the glass. A blend of East Kent Golding and Styrian Golding hops bring their European floral bouquet stateside with elegant notes of citrus blossom, lavender, and birch bark that compliments the French derived Saison yeast and adds a beautiful and soft complexity.
