We start with a rich, classic porter and thoughtfully add some classics from the old-time brewing world: black walnut, roasted chestnuts, licorice and just a dash of tasty spices to add depth and bring the whole thing together. It's as heartland as it gets, so try it with homestyle classics like burgers on the grill, meatloaf, barbecued brisket and anything else that stomps all over lesser beers. We like to serve it cool, but not cold (48°F/9°C), in our unique tasting glass or a big ol' red wine glass.
