Everyone's displeasure is kept bottled up throughout the forgettable meal. But fear not, for there is light at the end of this dark, pseudo-Italian tunnel. As the sad twenty something year old server is hastily picking up the dirty plates, he reminds the table he will be back shortly with a scoop of Spumoni ice cream for everyone. A small constellation prize for enduring the previously frozen Sysco food. The flavor combinations of sweet cherry, rich chocolate, and and the slightly salty pistachio. Grandma isn't all that bad. This beer pays homage to that small moment of satisfaction.
