Description: Dry body and fruity saison character, with a touch of roast as well. Slight acidity, fruitiness, and tannin pulled from the Pinot Noir barrels after several months of aging, balancing the roast and dark fruit notes. Figs & cherries were added to the barrels for the final 60 days of aging. Like the High Priest of the Great Old Ones, this saison must spend an age in darkness and solitude before the depths of its character are revealed to the world.
