Description: Our attempt to capture all of the great hop character found in an IPA but in a more “sessionable” (see: less ABV) beer...voilà the Short Hop India Session Ale! And, since we're heading into the bulk of the baseball season, we thought the name would be fitting as well. The Short Hop is a completely NEW recipe that shines a light on the hop character of an IPA but weighs in at only 5.2%. Short Hop has a nice round body with a fruity and slightly resinous hop forward character. We have added a variety of malts to create a fuller body as well as a hint of rye for complexity. Light in color with a dry, clean hop finish should make you come back for more, and the lower ABV makes it possible.
