Description: A German style Brown Ale typical of the city of Dusseldorf. Tawny, (light brown with hints of red) in color, this beer is aged cold for an extended period of time. It is smooth and round with a malty bready nose and notes of delicate noble hops. Flavor starts off malty with a touch of chocolate malts, then finishes relatively dry with a slight bitter kiss. ALT means old, (this type of beer is one of Germany’s older varieties.) Well balanced and very drinkable.
