Description: This dark lager began as a riff on the dark Czech Lager we named Bohemian Rhapsody, but when we ordered in a sample of the fantastic Montmorency Cherry Juice that King’s Orchards makes from their tart Michigan cherries, it became clear that the two should marry. The resulting beer is Cherry Bomb and features the aforementioned cherries over a malty dark base which includes Munich and Bohemian malts as well as some chocolaty dark German malts. The cherries lend a slightly spicy, cinnamon flavor reminiscent of the best Cherry Pies, whereas the malts evoke chocolate and toast. 4th of July is just around the corner, so what better way to celebrate than with a Cherry Bomb.
