This India Pale Ale pays homage to our brewing cousins across the pond while adding an American twist that goes just shy of dumping all of their tea overboard. Whether we are talking Kyoto accords, Nuclear Non-Proliferation, the Treaty of Phoenice, the Peace of Bautzen (1018 A.D. version), promises made to the Penataka band, a pledge to put America before political labels or a reasonable promise to try to write better beer labels than this– may this IPA be a first step in keeping our promises and working together towards a civil and prosperous planet.
