Description: Look, we're sorry. Honestly. We made this IRS and liked the flavor so much that we didn't end up adding any marshmallows, maple syrup, toasted nuts, cocoa nibs or even a kiss of single origin coffee from a small farm out of Brazil. We love throwing the kitchen sink into a brew as much as anyone else, but every once in a while it's nice to sit back and appreciate what the four ingredients can do together. Made with only 3 English malts from Simpsons Maltings: Maris Otter, Caramel Malt and Chocolate Malt, some Columbus hops for bittering and some neutral California Ale yeast. The result: big and chewy body, with dark cocoa and toffee like flavors popping through. Bitterness is medium-high with a pleasant linger in the finish.
