Description: Guest brewer Dylan VanDetta and the Green Dragon Brew Crew collaborated to brew Dylan's award-winning Cascadian Dark Ale recipe which won 2nd place at the 2015 Heart of Cascadia Homebrew Competition. Oubliette (pronounced "oo-blee-et") means a secret dungeon with an opening only in the ceiling. The term is derived from the French word “oublier;" which means, “to forget”. The name is very appropriate for this roasty brew because it will draw you into its darkness. Oubliette Black carries a complex aroma and flavor due to the six varieties of hops used throughout the brewing process. With its thick, creamy head, notes of chocolate and coffee, and a wonderful citrus and fruity aroma, you’ll be asking for a second glass… and be glad you’re not trapped in an oubliette.
