Description: Dortmunder originated in Germany's steel and coal district in the 19th century. This was their response to the Pilsners and Helles lagers being brewed elsewhere in Germany. Originally, the Dortmunder breweries in this region brewed a wheat based, dark colored ale. However in 1873, several breweries grouped together under the name Dortmunder Union and gave birth to this new style. Fundevogel is a smooth balanced golden lager. Brewed with Pilsner and Munich malts and hopped just enough with German nobel hops, this beer will leave you satisfied.
