Description: The 2016 vintage of Grimm's "Water of Life" is an intensely fruity Double IPA that show- cases the qualities of Amarillo, Cascade, Citra, Eldorado, and Mosaic hops. A rounded, bold bitterness gives way to an aromatic blend of citrus, tropical and stone fruit characteristics. A touch of Dark Munich malt adds complexity to the body and is complimented on the finish by a hint of pine and freshly cut grass. This beer is crushable and refreshing after a hike in the mountains, while wrapping up some yard work, or when you're grilling with friends on a cool summer evening. The Grimm fairy tale "Water of Life" tells us of the trials and tribulations of three brothers as they battle against their own ambition and moral compass to save their father, the King, from a fatal illness. Attempting to fnd the water of life, the eldest two Princes fall victim to their greed while the youngest remains honest and true to save his father, win a beautiful Princess, and earn the admiration and respect of nearby kingdoms.
