Description: Today we release SYRAH, a mature 8% Mixed Culture Saison that was refermented Syrah grapes from Sonoma County. Notes of wild, wild saison and berries and earth with balanced acidity and fuuunk. This will be the last mixed culture bottle release we’ll have for the foreseeable future. We won’t be moving our wild program to our Balmoral brewery, too many scaries and practical road blocks. This beer, like many of the beers that have come from our wild program, occupies a unique space. A place that’s not traditional, at times very adventurous, mindful and curious to find details. Our wild program was led by @lee_monster. Lee made the Lincoln Cove, as it’s been called, a fresh fruit slaughter house of country and rock, hard work and dedication. He made jet beers on a go-kart set up. Thanks, Lee. We’ve been proud to bring beers of this kind to you. Maybe we’ll catch back up with the bugs down the road.
