Description: The Troeg’s collaboration beer, releasing in May 2016, will be a Hoppelbock, an 8% ABV hoppy, strong amber lager, brewed with all German hops and a large percentage of locally sourced malt from Deer Creek Malthouse in Pennsylvania. “This is a very cool project!,” says Heavy Seas Brewmaster, Christopher Leonard. “We get to host some of our most respected peers, use some locally sourced ingredients, and make a batch of unique, interesting beer with input from both organizations. Our entire brewing team has been having a blast with it!”
