Description: One Thick Mint is one strange beer. Brewed with our friends at Progressive Distribution, this beer is a matcha mint chocolate chip milkshake double IPA. Brewed with a base of barley, wheat, and oats, we added lactose, spearmint, and peppermint leaves to the boil. The beer was then aggressively double dry hopped with mosaic, el dorado, and mandarina bavaria hops in the fermenter. Lastly, we added Tahitian vanilla beans, cacao nibs from Ecuador, and matcha tea powder. The resulting beer is thick and sweet with big notes of mint and citrusy hops, a noticable amount of vanilla, and hints of dark chocolate and grassy matcha green tea.
