Description: Our Scalded Foot Brown ale gets its name from a rather unfortunate, but perhaps foreseen event, that occurred during the early days of brewing. Even today in our new brew house Mark ceremoniously dons his black boots, Pete laces up his CrossFit nanos, and Joe insists on the Florida weather-approved flip flops. One fine afternoon brewing in the garage, not a breeze in sight, an open valve gushed boiling hot water onto…you guessed it…Joe’s foot! You might say we had one roasty, toasty Joe – so we treat our brown ale with a cup of Joe bringing roasted, toasted notes from dark espresso beans and the perfect balance of vanilla. This one will wake up those tastebuds and have you dancing in your work boots!
