Description: Caer Edin Dark Ale is a dark, ruby red porter style beer at 4.2% ABV. Smoky, robust, full bodied, with hints of chocolate, dried fruits, molasses, and liquorice, with a long , bitter hoppy finish. As with Pennvael, only the finest hops and malts are used, although darker malts are used, as well as some oats. This beer is full of character and has been described as "An old Scottish Light with a taste of Ireland".
