Description: What we have here is a peculiar lager. Starting off as a Cranberry infused wild rice Dunkel, and ending as a wild fermented sour. The beer was lagered for 5 weeks, then transferred to red wine barrels that had time to take in the wild yeast and bacteria of the area, then we topped the barrels up with brettanomyces. 1.5 years later, we have this beer. Tartness from the cranberries and wild bacteria used to finish the ferementation play well with a subtle maltiness. Finishing dry and tart with some brett funk on the nose. This beer is a ponderer, each sip taking you on a trek through the cranberry bogs, where you might want to stay forever!
