Description: Scorched Earth is a Double IPA brewed with Agave Nectar; brewed in two collaborative sessions with our friends at Seventh Son Brewing Company. Each batch (one brewed at 7S, one at LG) followed the exact same recipe and processes with one simple, but profound difference, the yeast. We used 7S’ house yeast on our batch, while 7S utilized our house strain. The resulting brews are a testament to the impact that these little microorganisms have on beer. We recommend trying both, side by side, to highlight the two beers similarities and differences.
