Description: A spritzy, creamy bavarian dark wheat beer with notes of nutmeg, cracked pepper, clove and allspice. Locally grown White Tumeric (Olena) provides spicy ginger and pepper notes with hints of green mango and provides a slight bitter aftertaste to balance the dark malts. The Olena is supported with citrus zest and ginger root. Frothy off white lingering head. Finishes dry. Best served with roasted chicken, Gouda, banana cream pie, cinnamon toast, fried chicken, pepper steak, smoked bacon or ham, american BBQ, and mature cheese.
