Description: Close your eyes - Don't fear the darkness. Dive in and enjoy hints of pine, citrus, chocolate, and caramelized sugar. This is our take on the Cascadian Dark Ale, or more popularly known as the Black IPA. Chinook, Centennial and Citra hops were used to provide a dynamic hop flavor. We then employed both Midnight Wheat and Blackprinz malts to add depth to the color. We also added 60 pounds of Dark Belgian Candi Sugar and Belgian Abbey yeast to add a dimension of dry sweetness to the finish.
