Description: Bone Dusters, a collaboration between beer and science! On our never ending quest for new yeast strains, we decided to collaborate with Paleo Quest and dust some protocetid whale fossils found in Virginia near the Dismal Swamp now on display in the Calvert Marine Museum. A wild yeast was found, having fruity and very unique characteristics. We decided to brew an amber ale with this yeast, balancing the personality of this organism with a nice maltiness. Bone Dusters, a toast to cultivation!
