Description: Bigger and bolder and larger and longer. That was the general theme when Brewmasta Mike came down to Des Moines almost three years ago to brew up some imperial stout. COVET is the largest stout we have ever brewed, and received the longest single-barrel treatment of any Lua beer to date. COVET is an imperial stout aged for 32 months in 18 year Elijah Craig bourbon barrels. It is the sum of its simple parts: a massive stout: good, old barrels; and patience. Simplicity into complexity through detail, diligence, and patience. We brewed, selected, and blended this beer in collaboration with our good friends at Toppling Goliath in celebration of our Fourth anniversary.
