Description: Ice Sake Ale This genuine specialty beer is a tribute to the jidaigeki cult film Shogun Assassin (Kozure Ōkami) [1980] by Robert Houston. Based on Lone Wolf and Cub (子連れ狼) by Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima. We at Macken Bryggeri all strive to push our boundaries, to challenge our preconceptions. Humbly, but sternly, we let the lone wolf and cub lead us unto untrodden paths. Refuse to conform! The visual concept is inspired by the Utagawa school and their grand masters [19th century], particularly the masterwork of Utagawa Kuniyoshi [1797-1862]. The label was done on one of the finest and superior hand made washis (Japanise paper) in Japan; Gampi Torinoko. The label features the Furukawa’s family crest; our Brewmaster’s surname.
